Gait Trainer™ 3
The Gait Trainer 3 provides audio and visual biofeedback of step length and step speed The Biodex Gait Trainer™ 3 is more than a treadmill. It is designed with an instrumented deck that issues both audio and visual real-time biofeedback to prompt patients into their correct gait pattern. Step length, step speed and right-to-left time distribution (step symmetry) are directly addressed; patient footfall is compared to desired footfall step after step, both on the display in real time and documented in an easy to read histogram. -
Shockwave therapy
Shockwave energy is generated by several hundred piezoceramic crystals mounted in an applicator. The crystals are arranged as a mosaic and are precisely aligned with the therapy focus. When excited by a high-voltage pulse, the piezoceramic elements expand briefly along their axis by a few micrometers, creating a shockwave. -
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is based on surface cooling and uses low temperatures to reduce tissue temperature. Cryotherapy incorporates the use of a continuously cooled stream of air with a constant temperature range, which results in a range of thermoregulatory effects that are desirable for various indications, including acute and chronic pain as well as rheumatism. -
Microwave therapy
Therapy with microwaves is associated with high frequency therapy. The different frequencies used in high frequency therapy have in common the fact that warmth is created in the tissue under their influence. Microwaves are applied using the 'radiation field method' by means of various applicators. -
LAS-Expert with laser shower
Laser shower with 14 laser diodes for application on larger surfaces (e. g. in trauma, arthropathy, large muscular hypertony and in dermatology) and additional keys for parameter setting Laser Emission: 785 nm semiconductor laser (scientifically proven: best values in penetration depth and biostimulation efficiency) Multi- and Alpha-frequency -
